Training Agreement & Release Policy

In order to protect all participants, I reserve the right to decline to work with any dog who presents behavior issues that may be overly dangerous, disruptive, or that may be exacerbated by participation in a group, private or online training session. If behavior issues are discovered during the online training or in person session, and the trainer determines that it is in everyone’s best interest to discontinue training sessions, you will be provided a refund (less administration fee of $60.00) of the balance of unused class, or balance will be applied toward private lessons.

Cancellations and Refund Policy:

We do not provide refunds less than 72 hours for group classes once you have paid to secure a spot in a class. A minimum of 72 hours notice must be given for a full refund prior to any package privates beginning. Otherwise, we hold a no refund policy once services have begun. For private sessions, cancellations or rescheduling must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session. All private in person or online packages expire within 5 months of the first session.

Training Agreement:

I have read and understand the above Policy and Cancellations sections. I understand that participation in any training class or private training is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend with me, or to my dog because my dog or other dogs in the class may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care. In consideration of such risk, and to enable Get Pawsitive Dog Training as inducement to the acceptance of my application for and participation in training classes/private session(s), I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Pawsitive Dog Training, its officers, directors, instructors, agents, employees and/or representatives of any and all claims, including or claims by any member of my family, or accompanying guests of mine of injury, expense, costs, or damages to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend with me, my dog, or any handler sponsored by me. In addition, I agree that I will defend and indemnify Sarah Surritt of Get Pawsitive Dog Training , its officers, directors, instructors, agents, employees and/or representatives for any injury, expense, costs or damages to any persons or dogs, whether sponsored by me or not, or to third parties arising out of my own actions or the actions of my dog. I have read and agree to the above stated provisions.
